So, this comic could technically be called a TF story. What is tf? It stands for transformation. Usually animal transformation and yeah...this comic is mostly about that. I Know to all of you who understand what TF is....this story was NOT made because of a FETISH. This story will be good. Me and "TheShadyFedora" wanted to break the norm with a good tf story. Animal transformation stories have so much potential, but the idea is squandered for gross fetish lovers. (Maybe not all are, but the ones I found where not enjoyable). this story is VERY brutal, and contains gore and other hard themes. So beware, people.
Its started! The comic is coming underway!
UPDATE: I added his scar, brindle, and I fixed his nose.
This is a really awesome comic book cover; it is intriguing and very neatly composed! The main character looks brave and strong, simple yet giving out a clear personality. I absolutely love the background, it's smooth and well-balanced—the foggy effect is brilliant and I can even see the little leaves on the trees
The fine line-art is flawless, and you did the details of fur very nicely; I really like his tall, pointed ears, and how you managed to shade every overlap neatly. His eyes are even shiny!
This is, simply put, basically perfect—I would go out to the stores and except to see something like this The shading is phenomenal, the details, from on the cracks on the rocks to the story-telling in the canine's expression, are not lacking at all.
I can only give one or two suggestions, really. For example, his hind heels (or the back part of his legs, I don't really know what that's called) have a bit of a sharp edge. They're pointy, and though one could say that is how the art style is, I see the rest of the character's linework has more "curved" (smooth) turns. That didn't really make sense, did it? Anyways, the nose also seems turned too much counter clockwise, you know? Either that, or it is the way the mouth and jaw are drawn; his face begins to look turned at an odd angle if you stare at it long enough, but that's being exceedingly picky, of course.
I really do wish you guys the best on this comic—it promises to be awesome, especially with that title and this cover A lovely day to you!
Also did you actually read some of my stories... if so what did you think?
As a matter of fact I had taken a peek at your gallery. Your most recent works demonstrate that you do have a good grasp on grammar, punctuation, spelling, and paragraph spacing, but as for the premise of most of your stories I found them somewhat similar to each-other, but that's only because most of them dealt in transformations. You pay close attention to specific descriptions and physical aspects, as with any writer though, I would advise that they write what they enjoy, and always push themselves to do better. Overall I can't exactly say they were my cup of tea, and I found most of the characters to be rather shallow, and some of the scenarios to be similar to the others. Exercising a bit more creativity wouldn't hurt, but then again I don't really have a taste for TF literature.
Great background and realistic hills.
Mutt is clearly shown in the color but could add more structure. Design is fairly attractive. Mutt eyes are straight and forward looking. Placement of color and objects are not original but you did illustrate convenient direction.
Artwork looks like it is somewhat complete.
Great style! The way you’ve drawn the character is really sleek and polished-looking. I really like the expression and the notch in the ear is a great detail to make the character stand out visually.
I came here from Project-Comment so a few things for critique…the overall anatomy looks good to me (although I don’t usually draw canines so I’m not the best judge), however the paws look really large. Either that or the ankles are quite thin. But I realize you might have exaggerated the proportions for style. The perspective on the nose/snout seems a bit slanted towards the viewer, rather than facing the same direction as the rest of the head.
In terms of design, the composition works well. However the words and the design are a very saturated blue while the rest of the image consists of browns/grays/earth tones. The blue sort of overpowers the image as a result. It’s also a little hard to tell in some spots what is part of the canine and what is part of that large black circle around the design. I think if the circle was darker or semi-transparent that would help put more of the focus on the character.
The background works well I think. It adds more detail to the image without distracting from the character.
Nice work overall and I hope this is helpful.
By the way, if you want the comic to be translated into german or french, feel free to ask me! I'm fluent in both those languages, and would be honoured to help.
and thank you so much for the watch!!
Im excited to read this!
